Writer, Existential GPS
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Distance Certified Counselor with more than 15 years experience helping adults and couples who have struggled with a wide range of life and mental health issues. In addition to providing psychotherapy and couples counseling, I offer consultation services for those wanting to explore the meaning and language of their dreams. As an adjunct professor at Carlow University, I have led classes in existential psychotherapy, psychology of film, and counseling theory. Through an existential lens, I write about subjects related to good mental health. Among my upcoming projects, I will be hosting the podcast, Existential GPS, on this site.

Writer, Hello Universe
I am a freelance writer and connoisseur of all things dipped in love and deep fried in soul. I live in Northern California, but hail from the heartland of Ohio. I write on topics ranging from love to pop culture to psychology and sex, with the occasional soapbox diatribe.

Writer, Everyday Therapy
I am a native to Western Pennsylvania, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University. As a Professional Counselor, I have worked with a variety of populations including adolescent, adult, geriatric, and LGBT populations. As an Adjunct Professor, I have a focus on organizational psychology, research methods, leadership, motivation, and stress.
I volunteer for a Critical Incident Stress Management Team that assists public safety personnel after the experience of a critical incident; and enjoy working with this population immensely. I spend much of my free time with family, appreciating the social aspect of living in a city environment, and spending time outdoors. I am passionate about assisting others and feel strongly that humans benefit from the experiences of learning, growth, and development throughout each stage of life; which assists in the capacities of giving to and nurturing future generations. As a contributor, I write about an array of topics relating to mental health, behavioral health, stress, self-care, physical health, anxiety, aging, grieving, therapy, and improving one’s overall quality of life.
