Mary is a caring, compassionate, and experienced therapist who is supportive and attentive to your needs and therapeutic goals. Mary is a doctoral candidate at Carlow University working toward her PsyD. Her approach is client centered as she infuses techniques from cognitive behavioral, existential, and other clinically validated methods of counseling. Mary feels that people need to be seen, to be heard, to be understood, to have a sense of connection, and to feel they can achieve greater levels of meaning and purpose in spite of the issues that have them feeling stuck in life. In short, she is interested in getting to know you as a person first and a client second.
Mary sees both English and Spanish speaking adults and older adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, trauma, and socio-cultural issues, as well as those facing challenging life transitions. Working in various clinical settings for several years has led Mary to see therapy as a collaborative and creative effort designed to meet your unique goals. Through meaningful conversation, Mary will join with you on your journey to better mental health, problem solving, awareness, and wellness. Contact her today (Llámala hoy).
